Bridal Appointments

Q: Do I need an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

A: Yes. Each bride and her guests will have the whole shop to themselves to create a personalized shopping experience.

Q: How long is a bridal appointment?

A: Each appointment is 2 hours long.

Q: How many guests can I bring?

A: We recommend bringing no more than 6 guests. This is YOUR day so bring who you know is going to be most helpful and who you want there the most. Space is limited so if you wish to bring more than 6 guests, let us know so we can be sure there is comfortable seating for everyone. We advice using discretion when bringing children.

Q: What do I need for my appointment?

A: You may want to wear undergarments that match your skin tone and if you wish to wear, or feel most comfortable/confident with shape wear, bring it along. Having your hair and make-up done may also be helpful when it comes to getting the feel for your wedding day look. This day is about you, feel free to go all out!

Q: What size are the sample dresses in the store?

A: Our samples range in size from a 12-18 to fit a good range of sizes. We do not currently carry plus size samples but our goal is to incorporate them soon.

The Dress

Q: How long before my wedding should I purchase a dress?

A: We recommend beginning your wedding dress search 9-12 months before your wedding day. Each dress is made to order and takes 8-12 weeks to arrive after ordering. Alterations take 3-4 months so be sure to give yourself and your seamstress plenty of time to ensure your dress fits perfectly.

Q: How much are the wedding dresses?

A: Our wedding dresses rand from $1,000-$3,000 with most dresses being in the $1,500 range.

Q: Can I customize my dress?

A: YES! What sets Jenna Eden Designs apart from other bridal stores is that all of our dresses can be customized. If it cannot be done by the original dress designers, it can be done in alterations. Not finding exactly what you have dreamed of in a dress? We can make you one from scratch! For custom dress details, visit the “Custom Design” tab in the drop down menu.

Q: How do I pay for my dress?

A: There are several options when it comes to payment. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon purchase of the dress. The final payment is due at time of pick up. Payment plans are available.

Bridal Alterations

Q: How much should I budget for alterations?

A: We recommend budgeting $300-$600 for alterations. Once you have selected your dress, we can give more insight to what you can expect to spend on alterations. Cost is based on level of detail the dress has and if you decide to make customizations.

Q: How long do alterations take?

A: Alterations take approximately 3-4 months. For rush alterations, we have a $100 rush fee. Any alterations needed in less than 1 month is considered a rush.

Q: When do I get my dress altered?

A: Give yourself and your seamstress plenty of time to get your dress fitting perfectly. Usually alterations take 3-4 months. An alterations appointment can be made for the day you pick up your dress or closer to the big day, if you wish.

Q: What do I bring to my bridal alterations appointment?

A: Bring along your wedding shoes or some of a similar height and the undergarments/shape-wear you plan to wear.

Other Alterations

Q: What other alterations do you do?

A: We do all occasion wear and specialty alterations (wedding, prom, pageant, formal occasion, etc.). We do not do ready-to-wear (general) alterations or mens wear.

Q: How long does it take to alter other garments?

A: Our turn around time for other alterations is 2-3 weeks. Appointments can be made under the appointment tab in the drop down menu.

Q: What do I bring to my alterations appointment?

A: Bring along your shoes or some of a similar height and the undergarments/shape-wear you plan to wear.

Returns

Q: Can I return or cancel my wedding dress order?

A: All wedding dresses have a non-refundable 50% deposit. If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible and you will not be liable for the remaining 50%.

Q: Can I return jewelry and other goods purchased at Jenna Eden Designs?

A: We have a 7 day return policy for full refund and a 30 day return policy for in-store credit. The items are yours to keep after 30 days. If any goods are damaged, please reach out as soon as possible and we will do our best to fix, exchange, replace, or refund the product.
